RYEFORD BRIDGE CLOSURE 19th June - 18th September (Approx.)

This is to allow for strengthening of the existing arches, replacing the bridge deck and implementing a formal single lane priority scheme. Unfortunately, it will be necessary to close the road to all vehicles during this period, with traffic being diverted via Stanley Downton. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Please note the above dates may be subject to change, in which case Amey will update the advance information signs at the site. Can we please remind you of the kind offer of the Parish Council to use the Pavilion Car Park at pick up and drop off times which should continue to alleviate some of the school parking issues.

This term's value is COURAGE

Welcome to Our School Family

A very warm greeting to you from all of us here at Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School. At our school, we aim to provide children with a happy, secure and stimulating learning experience underpinned by a caring Christian ethos. We believe that all children have the right to be respected and have the responsibility to learn how to respect others. As an accredited “Outdoor Learning School”, the fundamental importance of respect is of course extended to the world we live in; its peoples, places, plants and animals.

Our school strives to support and encourage our children to become confident, independent learners with a thirst to continually develop and progress in all aspects of their lives. We offer creative learning opportunities that stimulate, excite and enrich. At our school, we place the quality of relationships as a high priority for our staff, governors, pupils and parents and therefore, have the expectation that everyone within the learning environment will respect and support our school values.

I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated and highly professional team of teachers, teaching assistants, governors and support staff who have the highest expectations of our pupils.

We want the same things that you want for your child. In order to achieve this, we rely on our home-school partnership. We encourage parents and carers to get involved in the life of the school and the children’s educational journey. After looking through our website and reading our new prospectus (coming soon...) please come and see for yourself all that we have to offer you and your child.

At Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School we aspire to “Love, Laugh and Learn…for Life!”
