Extreme Reading Challenge
At school we all know you love reading. It is such an amazing thing to do, you can do it anywhere. So it’s that time of year, time for our Extreme Reading Challenge. All your Teachers and TAs want to challenge you to read your book in a really crazy, unusual, special or cosy place. Remember to keep yourself safe and be Covid safe. Last year you all came up with some amazing ideas. Have a look on the school website for ideas (search for Extreme Reading Challenge) if you are stuck. So your challenge starts today and you have until Friday 26th February to complete the challenge. Once you have completed the challenge send your picture to Mrs March firstname.lastname@example.org. Really looking forward to seeing where you are reading. Stay safe and have fun. Mrs March

Welcome to our School
A very warm greeting to you from all of us here at Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School. At our school, we aim to provide children with a happy, secure and stimulating learning experience underpinned by a caring Christian ethos. We believe that all children have the right to be respected and have the responsibility to learn how to respect others. As an accredited “Outdoor Learning School”, the fundamental importance of respect is of course extended to the world we live in; its peoples, places, plants and animals.
Our school strives to support and encourage our children to become confident, independent learners with a thirst to continually develop and progress in all aspects of their lives. We offer creative learning opportunities that stimulate, excite and enrich. At our school, we place the quality of relationships as a high priority for our staff, governors, pupils and parents and therefore, have the expectation that everyone within the learning environment will respect and support our school values.
I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated and highly professional team of teachers, teaching assistants, governors and support staff who have the highest expectations of our pupils.
We want the same things that you want for your child. In order to achieve this, we rely on our home-school partnership. We encourage parents and carers to get involved in the life of the school and the children’s educational journey. After looking through our website please come and see for yourself all that we have to offer you and your child.
At Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School we aspire to “Love and Learn for Life, as Jesus taught us".
