Access into School
Could all parents/carers please press the buzzer on the entrance gate to school to speak to the school office before coming to the front door as we cannot always hear you knocking the door. We can hear the buzzer easily in the staffroom. We are still not allowing all but essential pre-booked visitors into the school, and all visitors are asked to wear a mask unless exempt for medical reasons. Should you come to the front door and find it is unlocked please do not just walk into the school – stay outside and knock and someone will assist you. This is to protect you as well as the staff and children on site. Thank you.
Test & Trace – Guidance for Parents
This is an important letter from the NHS to share some information on how we can work together to make sure we can continue to give children and young people the best education in the safest way possible. Please read this letter to better understand when you should be getting your child tested and any consequences of that.
Mr. Green – Head Teacher

Welcome to our School
A very warm greeting to you from all of us here at Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School. At our school, we aim to provide children with a happy, secure and stimulating learning experience underpinned by a caring Christian ethos. We believe that all children have the right to be respected and have the responsibility to learn how to respect others. As an accredited “Outdoor Learning School”, the fundamental importance of respect is of course extended to the world we live in; its peoples, places, plants and animals.
Our school strives to support and encourage our children to become confident, independent learners with a thirst to continually develop and progress in all aspects of their lives. We offer creative learning opportunities that stimulate, excite and enrich. At our school, we place the quality of relationships as a high priority for our staff, governors, pupils and parents and therefore, have the expectation that everyone within the learning environment will respect and support our school values.
I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated and highly professional team of teachers, teaching assistants, governors and support staff who have the highest expectations of our pupils.
We want the same things that you want for your child. In order to achieve this, we rely on our home-school partnership. We encourage parents and carers to get involved in the life of the school and the children’s educational journey. After looking through our website please come and see for yourself all that we have to offer you and your child.
At Leonard Stanley C of E Primary School we aspire to “Love and Learn for Life, as Jesus taught us".
