We must once again politely request that parents/carers collecting children from our school and Early Years do NOT drive into the school car park unless a Registered Disabled Badge holder, or have been given prior permission by the school to do so.
Our Extended Service Staff are finding it increasingly difficult to find a car park space that isn’t blocked by a non-staff members’ car or cars parked in the idle of the car park. They are now late for Out of School Club due to not being able to park in the school car park. There is also the issue that some staff members who have to leave at the end of the school day to collect their children from other schools are now being blocked in by cars that are owned by non-staff members.
We must insist that only those allowed to use our school car park do so and ask that all parents/carers park responsibly and safely outside of the school premises.
We have also noticed that parents who are bringing their children to the school after registration in the morning are driving into the car park and dropping off their children. Again, we must ask that you do not use the school car park but park outside and walk your child/ren into school.
As always we thank you for your co-operation. The staff at Leonard Stanley Primary School.
