Y4/5 Gardening and Growing Project
Hello everyone. Next Friday, 1st October marks the culmination of our work with School Food Matters, and myself and a small group of children will be at the Shambles Market, Stroud from 9.30-11 am to sell the produce we’ve grown at school alongside Rodborough and Rosary schools. However, we need your help! Slugs and snails have destroyed lots of our plants, so we are looking for donations of fruit and veg from your gardens to boost our offerings. Windfall apples, flower posies, blackberries, bunches of herbs… all would be gratefully received! Please send any produce in by Thursday 30th September so we can get it all ready for market day. Any profits go to local charity The Long Table which aims to end food poverty – a really good cause. Thanks heaps, Mrs Christie
