Parents Evening – Telephone appointments

Paper copies of appointments were sent out on Thursday of this week with children with a letter explaining the appointments will be telephone appointments this November due to the large amount of staff and children off poorly with nasty bugs – we are trying to protect our staff as Gloucestershire Supply Agencies are struggling to provide schools with supply teachers during this current time of bugs, viruses and Covid19. Therefore, we respectfully request that you DO NOT send your child into school if you suspect they are poorly, we are extremely short staffed at present and are deploying staff around the classrooms to ensure that the children are safe and looked after, but we really do need your help in keeping them at home if they are ill (48 hours from last bout of illness for sickness/diarrhoea bug). We wish to avoid the worst case scenario of partial or full closure due to staff shortages. Please be mindful of this. With grateful thanks in advance for your co-operation – Mr Green, Head Teacher.
