Update from FOLSS

Christmas Cards
We hope you have all received your order forms for your child’s Christmas Card design. If you would like to order, simply follow the link or QR code. Cards, coasters, mugs and tags are available along with the opportunity to order personalised Santa Sacks.
All orders must be placed by the 14th November 2021 so they can be printed and back to you in time to send out to your family and friends.

Volunteers required!
Working party of volunteers needed to complete the Poly Tunnel build and tidy and clear. Looking for at least six competent DIY individuals and lots of support volunteers to donate their time on Saturday 13th November. If you can help please email info@folss.org.uk

KS2 New Play Equipment
We are very excited to let you all know that after some super fundraising and money donated by the local Parish Council, we are currently having a new adventure trail installed for KS2. It includes monkey bars, a net climber, balance beams, stepping logs and a drop rope traverse. It is being installed by Discovery Timber Play who are based just around the corner in Bridgend. This equipment should make break times lots more fun for all.

And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten KS1, we just don’t have the pennies as yet – but all fundraising activities we are currently doing will go towards making sure they don’t miss out.

Bags2school
Thank you for all your kind donations, the bags have now all been taken away to be weighed. There was a total of 98 bags donated which raised a lovely £147, so thank you all so very much for supporting this initiative.

Pool Key Fobs
Please can we ask that all pool key fobs are returned by the 5th November. FOLSS will be outside school on Friday the 5th at pick up to collect and hand back deposits. If you are unable to make this date please place your fob in an envelope into the FOLSS post box and we will arrange to get your fob deposit back to you.
