Update from FOLSS

Smarties Challenge
On Friday 4th February FOLSS will be sending home a tube of Smarties*, yummy, for your child to enjoy. Please keep the tube!
We are asking in return that your child completes tasks at home to earn money to fill the tube with silver (gold) coins. This can be by doing chores, homework or asking friend and family if they need help.
Once your tube is full, return it to school on Monday 28th February, making sure your child’s name and year is written on the tube. The class who raises the most will get a special treat. All funds raised go into the PTA fund.
*We have made substitutions for allergies etc.

Tea Towels
Your child may have come home and said they have been drawing a self-portrait for FOLSS, you may be wondering why? Well, we are producing school tea towels for each class. The great thing about these tea towels is each one is unique with your child’s self-portrait at the centre of the design.

Bags2school
Thank you so much to everyone who donated unused clothes/shoes for our last Bags2school collection. All your donations made over £140 for FOLSS! We have another collection booked for 13th May and as from next week (4th February) would be grateful for any donations of unwanted clothing and shoes.
Please leave any bagged donations outside the reception door of school on Mondays and Fridays.

December lottery winners
Congratulations to the December lottery winners who received double the normal prize money, enjoy your winnings.
The 100+ club lottery is a great way to raise funds while you get the chance to have a flutter and win monthly cash prizes. The 100+club is open to all, family, friends and neighbours at a monthly cost at £2.50. The more that join the bigger the prizes and the greater the funds for the school!
