I hope you Smarties challenge is going well at home. Here’s a poem to keep the kids motivated:
We’ve given you some Smarties to eat
But the empty tube you must keep
For every task done, earn 20p
It’s up to you to earn your fee
Fill up your tube, right to the top
Return in a few weeks for our charity pot!
Please return your Smarties tube to school on Monday 28th February, making sure your child’s name and year is written on the tube. The class who raises the most will get a special treat.
Thank you for your support

Tree planting – volunteers needed
FOLSS have been lucky enough to secure a donation of trees and shrubs from The Woodlands Trust. There are 105 trees and shrubs that will need to be planted once delivered to build up a hedge on the Bath Road border, which will provide additional shade and privacy to the children in years to come.
We are looking at the weekend of the 19th-20th March to prepare the ground and plant the trees. Volunteers required to help complete this massive task. There will be cake and refreshments provided and we welcome smaller helpers.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
Your child’s self-portraits are now with the Tea Towel company. Look out for ordering details coming next week.
Please leave any bagged donations outside the reception door of school on Mondays and Fridays.
