Maths with art – exploring ratios – Y6

Year 6 combined Maths with Art to explore the concept of ‘ratio’ by mixing paint colours. After making predictions, we discovered that a whole range of shades could be created; depending on the size and number of ‘parts’ of each colour included in the mix.
