Science – micro-organism experiment – Y6

During Science, Year 6 have been learning about bacteria and viruses. We considered the hidden presence of these micro-organisms in our daily lives and conducted an experiment to determine the most likely places where they might lurk! Agar-filled petri dishes and swabs at the ready, we sampled numerous locations in and around school (including ourselves!) and closely monitored the results over a series of days before drawing conclusions.
