Stroud Cross-Country Event

The school again participated in the Stroud cross country event at Stratford Park. On an up and down course of a Km and Mile for the older ones.
Not a massive turn out, but massive well done to all who took on the challenge – proud of your efforts. Results – Y3 girls – EL 7th, EH 16 out of 45; Y4 boys – SK 57 out of 64; Y4 boys – KH 12; CH 48; DB 65 out of 70; Y5 girls – JH 2; ASA; Y5 boys – OR 2; TV 33 out of 60; Y6 boys – ZW – 26 out of 59.

A big well done though to OR and JH in Y5 who, on finishing in the top 10, represented Stroud District at the County Cross Country event at St Edwards School, Cheltenham. They did amazingly well against the other top 80 runners in the County, coming 14th (JH) and 32nd (OR). This helped Stroud secure 3rd in the girls, and 7th in the overall boys competition. Huge congratulations to both!!!
