Year Six enjoyed getting to grips with mountain biking! We all took part in an energising cycle around the school field; navigating both uphill and downhill sections whilst maintaining control and trying hard against the clock.

Recently Y5 have been having fun listening to Holst’s classical pieces for Mars and Venus – creating artwork from what we visualise. Also, out of the classroom, we have been developing cricket skills and mountain biking around the field.
Y1 had their first Judo lesson today. We learnt different Judo moves and words. We also spoke about respect and resilience. We look forward to next week.
Year 5 have been busy building, practising, performing and evaluating their Gymnastics routines. Lots of mirroring, following, rolling and using counter tensions and balances too.
Y5 have been working on Dance this Spring and have learnt/performed a few dances – it wasn’t quite what they thought DANCE was!! We performed – THE ALIEN and THE LIGHTNING MAN.
Judo, recorders and singing – Y4 have been very busy so far this term, learning new Judo skills, to play the recorder and singing songs that we will be singing when we visit Highborder Lodge to sing to the residents!
