Counting in tens – Y1 Posted by Leonard Stanley School Categories Maths, Y1 Learning Date 16th February 2023 In Year One we learnt how to count in tens. We made strips of ten and turned them in to paper chains to count in tens. If I had 5 chains, I could count to 50. Most children made ten chains and could count in tens to 100.
