Farewell from Mr Green

This is my last Newsletter post to you all as your Head Teacher, so may I take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for the kindness shown to me over the last 8 years here at Leonard Stanley School. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the children (305 that were admitted during those 8 years, thank you Mrs Williams!) and teaching them, watching them grow from Reception to Year 6 and moving on to Secondary School. It has been a privilege to be part of their educational journey here at Leonard Stanley Primary School.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy, safe and sunny summer break and when you return in September, you will be in the very safe and capable hands of Mr Babbage who will be Acting Head Teacher, alongside Mrs Bullingham – who will Acting Deputy. My very best wishes – Andrew Green.
